im guessing some of you may have already come to the conclusion that this show has podfaded.  and i guess on some level it has.

for the past few months G and i have been trying to get together to lay down another show.  but as you can tell, we’ve been unsuccessful.  even thought Skype or iChat would be an option … yet again, unsuccessful. yesterday G and i got to talking and realized because of hectic schedules, being able to record the show is damn near an impossibility.  so if you want to consider that podfading, then yes we did.

i’ve played around with the idea of continuing the show minus G …

but i can’t.

weather you like the 2 recordings we’ve done or not, The Ear Bud Lounge is a show that G and I have been talking about doing for a long time.  the show wouldn’t be the same without G, and my want to do the show wouldn’t be as strong either.  my loyalty gets the best of me most of the time.  its a good quality to have but damn it really gets in the way sometimes - lol.  in my mind it’s always been a 50/50 effort, so if one of us isn’t there - the show isnt gonna happen.

so for the time being the site will remain.  the feed may not.  in a few months things may look a little better, or they may not.  i guess what im trying to say is im keeping hope that the possibility of returning, is in fact a possibility.

im not mad whatsoever on our decision to put the show on hiatius.  the fact of the matter is we have been unable to record, and without recording, there is no show anyway.  all im doing is letting everyone know what the hell is going on.

i’ll be sure to let everyone know when, or if, the show is going to return.  it would probably via twitter or here on this site so please keep checking back.

it’s been a while since we’ve released an episode.  we haven’t gone anywhere, its just that life has a funny way of making plans for ya when you least expect, or want it.  we’re still planning on having a show out every 2 weeks, but if life decides to throw a wrench into our plans … then so be it.

we’ll do our best to keep ya up to date as to what’s goin on and when we’ll be releasing episodes on a consistent basis.  stay tuned, we’re not going anywhere, just need a little more time to adjust.

recording of our first “official” episode is being put on hold.  food poisoning is to blame.  we had planned to have a new episode out every 2 weeks, but you know what … sometimes life gets in the way.  it’s alright, no big deal.  just gives us a little more time to prepare.

episode #000, our introductory show has been completed. unfortunately we don’t have hosting to post it yet. we’re figuring by the latest it should be upload by next sunday, the 23rd, at the very latest. for a first episode by some fairly novice podcasters i think it turned out pretty good. this is really just an introduction episode letting everybody get a basic idea of what we’re about.

other than our hosting situation, things are moving along nicely. we’re both really excited to get this show out there so you can check it out. at the moment leaving comments here is the only way to contact us, but please feel free to do so. any additional ways of contact will be posted both on this site and on future episodes once they are available.

Not any more! Fish and I were able to sit down and do some test recording yesterday. We hammered out all the technical details and recorded some “out take” worthy stuff- pretty funny. It always amazes me how when you put a microphone in front of anyone, they instantly are reduced to about 9 years old. (Guilty….)

Anyway, EPI 1 should be forthcoming SOON. Nothing to stop us now.

Boy, we’re not! Man, we are STOKED to get this show on the road, but as with most endeavors trouble usually rears it’s ugly head at the onset. The computer we were going to use for our recording (Catfish’s Mac) has been broken by Apple. The latest update to OSx has wreaked havok with Garage Band and pretty much killed our ability to produce a show. BUT- this does give us more time to plan and get our collective act together, thus giving us a better chance of putting out a GOOD first show. Bonus for the listeners, bonus for us.

Let’s just hope it works out that way. Stay tuned kiddies!
